Person. Storyteller. Work-in-progress. A. J. Hayes is a poet based in Baltimore (he writes fiction as A. Jarrell Hayes). He first started making zines 3 years ago when he ran an independent press. He fell in love with the process, the zine community and culture and has transitioned to creating zines from the comfort of his apartment. Check out his zines and eBooks online at www.ajhayes.com, read his writing on Patreon, www.patreon.com/ajh_books.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to fold and cut their very own mini zine, which they can keep for themselves, give as a gift or copy and distribute/sell. The purpose of this workshop is to release creativity in a unique and calming way and make art that can be created and duplicated on a low budget.
